Allegiant adds two new cities in six
Budget carrier Allegiant is adding two new cities to its route map, part of a six route expansion to be announced by the carrier Tuesday. The Charleston flights are scheduled to be seasonal, operating during the company warm weather schedule. Allegiant says service from the Sarasota Bradenton International Airport will operate year round.
Allegiant will start with three routes from each of the new cities, offering non stop service from both to Cincinnati, Indianapolis and Pittsburgh. (Scroll down for full schedule details)

However, the new service to Charleston and Sarasota comes as Allegiant ends flights in three other markets.
The company dropped service to Casper, Wyo., on Jan. 1. On Jan. 4, Allegiant did the same in Youngstown, Ohio, and Wilkes Barre/Scranton, Pa.
in these areas was simply not high enough to continue service at this time, spokeswoman Kim Schaefer told USA TODAY last fall when the cuts were revealed.
